Regularly. Send us the design package and we produce shop drawings from it, flag anything that conflicts with the mechanical or electrical layout, and issue submittals for review before fabrication starts. We also design from scratch for owners who do not have a consultant engaged.
In most cases, yes. Installations are scheduled evenings, overnights or weekends, dust control and floor protection go in first, and the area is cleaned and reopened before staff arrive. Larger fit-outs are staged room by room so only part of the space is out of service at a time.
The occupancy and the location of the millwork determine what is required. We specify panel products and surfacing materials that carry the ratings the Ontario Building Code calls for in that application, note them on the shop drawings, and provide the manufacturer's documentation for the consultant or inspector.
Accessible counter heights, knee and toe clearances, reach ranges and operable hardware are designed in from the first drawing rather than corrected later. We work to the AODA design standards and the barrier-free requirements in the OBC, and we mark the compliant surfaces on the drawing set so it is clear at review.
Yes — operatory cabinets, sterilization runs with dirty-to-clean flow, exam-room storage, lab benches and reception. Clinical areas are typically finished in solid surface with coved backsplashes and seamless joints, with PUR-banded frameless boxes below so there is no edge for fluid to sit in, and we coordinate cutouts for suction, air, waste and data with the equipment supplier.
