- 01Lorne Park and Mineola rebuilds
- Postwar bungalows on deep treed lots, frequently taken back to the studs or replaced entirely. With the plan still on paper we can fix cabinet depths, the height of the gola channel, appliance panel sizes and the island dimension before framing, which avoids the two-inch compromises that surface later.
- 02Port Credit and Clarkson village homes
- Narrower footprints, galley kitchens and a side door that dictates the traffic path. Counter-depth integrated appliances, a 400mm pull-out pantry beside the range and drawer banks on Tip-On rather than doors in the base cabinets are what make a tight room genuinely workable.
- 03Erin Mills and Streetsville, 1970s to 90s
- Solid houses wearing dated finishes: oak doors, a bulkhead, a fluorescent light panel and a peninsula sitting where people want to walk. Reworking the layout matters more than the finish in these homes, and we usually spend most of the design visit on exactly that before anyone opens the sample case.

- Concrete ceilings, no gas supply, limited venting and a board that governs working hours. Slab fronts in textured melamine survive that install better than a painted door does, cabinetry is built in modules sized for a booked elevator, and where no exterior duct exists we specify a recirculating hood with a carbon filter rather than pretending the problem away.

Book a Consultation
Call the Ancaster office or send a note through the site and we will find a time that suits your week, evenings and Saturdays included. Before the appointment we ask a few questions about the room, the budget range you have in mind and how the space is actually used day to day.

We Come to You
A design consultant arrives at your home with a case of slab door samples in super-matte, gloss, textured melamine and veneer, plus gola and finger-pull sections you can put your hand into, hinges and runners to work, edge profiles and finish boards. We walk the room together, talk through what is not working now, and hold finishes up against your own floors, counters and light.
You see every finish and opening system in the room it is meant for, with no drive and no showroom floor.

Design & Estimate
We take measurements if you would like us to, then prepare a computerized design with plan, elevations and 3D views drawn to your room's real dimensions. The estimate that follows itemizes cabinetry, surfaces, hardware and labour, so you can see exactly where the money goes.
You receive drawings and a detailed written estimate, free and with absolutely no obligation.

Production & Coordination
Once the drawings are signed off, doors, boxes and drawer fronts go into production and the countertop template is booked. Deliveries and trades are sequenced so material does not sit in your garage for six weeks waiting on something else to arrive.
You get a production schedule with the dates that affect your household marked on it.

Professional Installation
Installers protect floors and stair runs before anything comes through the door, then set and shim the frameless boxes dead level and scribe the end panels to the wall. Fronts are adjusted at the end of the install until the reveals read consistently at 3mm across the run and the gola channel lines through from one end of the kitchen to the other.
You get a swept site each evening and one point of contact for the length of the installation.

Final Inspection & Completion
We walk the finished room with you and write down anything that is not right, from a hinge that wants a quarter turn to a filler that needs trimming. Nothing is called complete until that list is empty and you have signed off on it.
You receive care instructions, spare hardware and the warranty in writing.
Working in Mississauga.
There is not. Measurements, a computerized design and a detailed estimate are all provided free and with no obligation, whatever the drive. Most clients here book after work, and the appointment typically runs an hour to ninety minutes.
Building permits come from the City of Mississauga. Like-for-like cabinetry does not need one; structural openings, plumbing relocation, new bathrooms and finished basements do. Properties near a ravine or a creek may also require Credit Valley Conservation approval, which adds time and is worth starting early.
It adds paperwork and rhythm rather than difficulty. Property management usually wants a certificate of insurance, a booked service elevator and work confined to set hours. Deliveries arrive in modules that fit the elevator, corridors and lobby floors are protected, and debris leaves the same day instead of sitting in the bin room.
That is the entire point of the visit. Door styles, colour samples, finishes and hardware come to your kitchen, and we can leave the shortlisted door and colour samples with you for a few days so you can look at them in morning light and again at night before you commit.
