- Frame and brick houses from the 1800s with lath-and-plaster walls, ceilings that drop to seven foot six at the back and door openings measuring differently at the head than at the floor. Everything is templated on site after demolition, nothing is ordered to a stock size, and frameless end panels are cut to scribe against the plaster.

- Owners along here are often doing the entire main floor at once. Cabinetry has to hold its own beside wall panelling, a fireplace surround and built-in seating, so one finish schedule runs through all of it and the 3mm reveals, shadow gaps and edge details stay consistent from the kitchen through to the living room.

- Large family houses with a bulkhead above the uppers, a laminate peninsula and a family room walled off from the cooking. Taking out the bulkhead, running cabinetry to the ceiling and replacing the peninsula with an island on a 12-inch seated overhang gives a modern plan without relocating services.

We Come to You
A design consultant arrives at your home with a case of slab door samples in super-matte, gloss, textured melamine and veneer, plus gola and finger-pull sections you can put your hand into, hinges and runners to work, edge profiles and finish boards. We walk the room together, talk through what is not working now, and hold finishes up against your own floors, counters and light.
You see every finish and opening system in the room it is meant for, with no drive and no showroom floor.

Design & Estimate
We take measurements if you would like us to, then prepare a computerized design with plan, elevations and 3D views drawn to your room's real dimensions. The estimate that follows itemizes cabinetry, surfaces, hardware and labour, so you can see exactly where the money goes.

Production & Coordination
Once the drawings are signed off, doors, boxes and drawer fronts go into production and the countertop template is booked. Deliveries and trades are sequenced so material does not sit in your garage for six weeks waiting on something else to arrive.

Professional Installation
Installers protect floors and stair runs before anything comes through the door, then set and shim the frameless boxes dead level and scribe the end panels to the wall. Fronts are adjusted at the end of the install until the reveals read consistently at 3mm across the run and the gola channel lines through from one end of the kitchen to the other.
You get a swept site each evening and one point of contact for the length of the installation.

Final Inspection & Completion
We walk the finished room with you and write down anything that is not right, from a hinge that wants a quarter turn to a filler that needs trimming. Nothing is called complete until that list is empty and you have signed off on it.
You receive care instructions, spare hardware and the warranty in writing.

Interior cabinetry generally sits outside heritage control. Exterior alterations, windows and additions do not, and in Old Oakville those go to the Town of Oakville's heritage planning staff before a building permit is issued. We build that approval time into the schedule and match existing trim profiles so new millwork sits comfortably with the original.
Building permits are issued by the Town of Oakville. A wall removal needs an engineered beam and a stamped drawing, plumbing relocations are permitted work, and properties close to Sixteen Mile Creek or the lake can need Conservation Halton approval as well. Straight cabinetry replacement in the existing layout needs nothing.
We measure the approach during the design visit: gate widths, the turn at the front door, headroom on the stair. Cabinetry is then broken into modules that make the route. On tight streets, delivery is scheduled outside school hours, and floors and door casings are protected before the first box comes in.
